Poem 1 by Caistar

Love bursts through my seams,

a hereditary gift from the heavens.

Though, in the end, it was not as it seemed;

you gave me peace for nearly eleven.

Crash and burn it all came;

your strongest soldier taken out.

How did you turn passion into pain?

My life flipped on its axis, imbuing me with complete doubt.

The future disappeared, concealed by dark clouds of a meaningless void.

If only that were the sole possession to escape my grasp.

Lost and unfound, who I once was, destroyed.

Oh, how I wish this would all pass.

Unrecognizable, the epitome of a fallen star,

Resurgence calls my name, and I get up with merely a faded scar.
